Dr. Spence graduated Magna Cum Laude and with Clinic Honours from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College as a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). He holds an Honours Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) Degree from the University of Toronto.
He is recognized as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), utilizing scientific knowledge to help individuals and athletes recover from injury and improve athletic performance. He also holds certification as a Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider through McMaster University.
Dr. Spence has attained the highest level of training through the Titleist® Performance Institute (TPI) as a Certified Golf Fitness Instructor (CGFI) and Level 3 Golf Medical Professional. He utilizes a comprehensive approach evaluating and helping golfers from beginner to advanced skill levels, identify and correct deficiencies in strength, stability, flexibility and balance in the golf swing in order to eliminate injury and improve performance.
Dr. Spence has extensive training and clinical experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of the musculoskeletal disorders. He provides high-quality, individualized treatment plans which are designed to yield the fastest results possible by reducing painful symptoms, advancing recovery, and providing patients with knowledge and tools needed to decrease the likelihood of recurrence.
Dr Spence is an active member of the Canadian Chiropractic Association (CCA), Ontario Chiropractic Association (OCA), College of Chiropractors of Ontario (CCO) and the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA).
