The myofascia (muscle fascia) is continuous web of connective tissue that surrounds and encases our muscles. Over time, scar tissue can build-up in the myofascia and accumulate into adhesions. As these adhesions form they start to affect the normal health and function of the muscles. In fact, they will often lead to pain, tightness, stiffness, restricted joint motion, and diminished blood flow.

Myofascia release therapies help to break down adhesions by combining precisely directed tension with very specific movement patterns to decrease pain and improve muscle length and range of motion.
